Candidate must have direct experience with the logistics support of a human spaceflight program including, but not limited to the Space Shuttle and its payloads, International Space Station, and Ares I. Experience with launch systems is a plus. Candidate must have highly developed written and oral skills for generation of critical program documentation and must be able to work well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related technical field is preferred; however, ten (10) years or more of applicable human spaceflight logistics experience can substitute for the degree.
Space Ground Test Analyst (NL-11-052): Candidate must have five (5) or more years of experience implementing the complete ground test process for a complex space program from test requirements to HWIL to flight certification. Candidate must have direct experience with the ground test of a human spaceflight system including, but not limited to the Space Shuttle and its payloads, International Space Station, and Ares I. Experience with hardware in the loop (HWIL), Systems Integration Lab (SIL), and launch systems are a plus. Candidate must have highly developed written and oral skills for generation of critical program documentation and must be able to work well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related technical field is preferred; however, ten (10) years or more of applicable human spaceflight ground test experience can substitute for the degree.
Space Avionics Analyst (NL-11-051): Candidate must have five (5) or more years of experience implementing a complete avionics system for a complex space program from requirements to design to flight certification. Candidate must have direct experience with avionics systems of a human spaceflight system including, but not limited to the Space Shuttle and its payloads, International Space Station, and Ares I. Experience with launch systems is a plus. Candidate must have highly developed written and oral skills for generation of critical program documentation and must be able to work well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related technical field is preferred; however, ten (10) years or more of applicable human spaceflight avionics experience can substitute for the degree.
Space Software Analyst (NL-11-050): Candidate must have five (5) or more years of experience developing the modeling and simulation (M&S) or flight software for a complex space program from requirements to design to flight certification. Candidate must have direct experience with the M&S or flight software of a human spaceflight program including, but not limited to the Space Shuttle and its payloads, International Space Station, and Ares I. Experience with CMMI Level 3 to 5 processes and/or launch systems are a plus. Candidate must have highly developed written and oral skills for generation of critical program documentation and must be able to work well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related technical field is preferred.
Space Systems Engineering and Integration Analyst (NL-11-049): Candidate must have five (5) or more years of experience with implementing the complete SE&I process for a complex space program from requirements development to verification. Candidate must have direct experience with the SE&I support of a human spaceflight program including, but not limited to, the Space Shuttle and its payloads, International Space Station, and Ares I. Experience with launch systems is a plus. Candidate must have highly developed written and oral skills for generation of critical program documentation and must be able to work well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related technical field is preferred; however, ten (10) or more years of applicable human spaceflight systems integration experience can substitute for the degree.
System Test Engineer (NL-11-047): Candidate must have ten (10) or more years of experience with system test and evaluation focused on surrogate ballistic missile defense target and countermeasure systems. Candidate is desired to have direct experience with Missile Defense Agency Targets and Countermeasures Program. Primary duties include all aspects of testing that includes planning, execution, and post-test reporting. Candidates must be capable of offering innovative ideas to your test philosophy ranging from ground test to flight test. Candidate must be capable of planning, developing and conducting tests including modal survey, system separation test, RCS characterization test, and system level EMI/EMC tests. Candidate must be capable of developing and coordinating UDS document inputs and performing range planning document development and coordination. Candidate must be able to travel to support launch mission activities. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field is required as minimum. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks. Must be able to communicate well with senior leadership. Electrical Design Engineer (NL-11-046): Candidates must have ten (10) or more years of experience with electrical design engineering of surrogate ballistic missile defense target and countermeasure systems. Candidate is desired to have direct experience with Missile Defense Agency Targets and Countermeasures Program. Candidate will perform electrical design activities to develop, document and present for approval control electronics and cable modifications to existing designs. Candidate must have experience developing electrical design drawings with Pro-Engineer. Candidate is desired to have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks. Must be able to communicate well with senior leadership. Must have highly developed written and oral skills. Position requires that candidate to have an active Secret security clearance to access classified information.
Mechanical Design Engineer (NL-11-045): Candidates must have ten (10) or more years of experience with mechanical design engineering of surrogate ballistic missile defense target and countermeasure systems. Candidate is desired to have direct experience with Missile Defense Agency Targets and Countermeasures Program. Candidate will perform mechanical design activities to develop, document and present for approval vehicle structural sections, associated separation joints and cable raceways. Candidate must have experience with flight environments and dynamics. Candidate must have experience developing mechanical design drawings with Pro-Engineer. Candidate is desired to have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks. Must be able to communicate well with senior leadership. Must have highly developed written and oral skills. Position requires that candidate have an active security clearance in order to access classified information.
Cost Analyst (NL-11-041) Part-Time: Candidate must have seven (7) years or more experience in cost modeling, estimation and analysis of systems/components including missiles/interceptors and launchers. Candidate must have expertise with a full range of costing including Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Average Unit Production Cost (AUPC). Experience using cost modeling/estimation tools and databases including VAMOSC, ACEIT, PRICE, SEER, and COCOMO. Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business or relevant field is required as minimum. Candidate must be able to support part-time status. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. IT Infrastructure Program Manager (NL-11-039): Candidate must have ten (10) years direct experience with developing and operating data centers. Candidate must have expertise developing, operating, documenting and sustaining integrated information technology operations, system and network management and administration, lab operation management, and information assurance (IA) product development. Candidate is desired to have Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Engineering or related technical field. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks. Must be able to communicate well with senior leadership. Must have highly developed written and oral skills. Candidate must be willing to travel as required. Systems Engineer (NL-11-036): Individual shall serve in the full-time role within the Critical Subcontract Management Team (SMT) assigned to manage the Counter Rocket Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM) subcontract. The candidate should have 8 – 12 years overall engineering experience working in a developmental environment with 1 - 2 years of that working with vendors. The candidate will be the lead technical point of contact (POC). The candidate shall:
- Lead weekly Systems Engineering (SE) status telecons
- Assist the on-site liaison (OSL) with tracking and reporting production status
- Assist the Software Test Facility (STF) with tracking and resolving STF issues
- Update, maintain, and distribute a joint action item spreadsheet (excel) on a weekly basis
- Develop and maintain schedules in coordination, Warn IPT Management, and the SMT
- Update, maintain, and distribute meeting agendas for weekly internal SMT meetings and weekly Program Management review telecons
- Track product failures and ensure they are addressed according to processes and procedures
- Track subcontract deliverables (SDRLs)
- Track and report financial performance
- Author Supplier Assessment Management System (SAMS) reports in conjunction with Mission Assurance (MA) and the SMT
- Coordinate and write SOW modifications
- Coordinate and conduct two (2) Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
- Coordinate and conduct four (4) Program Management Status Reviews (PMSR)
- Review /Approve invoices
- Prepare monthly Contract Management Review (CMR) and Project Review Authority (PRA) status charts for upper management
- Participate in weekly Warn IPT meetings
- Participate in weekly government Program Management Office (PMO) Warn Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings
- Provide weekly status to Warn management
- Provide technical advice to Warn management
- Monitor and review daily reports (may be done on a weekly basis) from personnel in theater to identify potential issues
- Travel to facilities in Sarasota and Branscome, Florida

Integrated Master Scheduler (NL-11-034: Candidate must have five (5) or more years experience with highly complex integrated master schedules. Experience with identifying tasks, interdependencies, critical paths, and resource allocation is required. Candidate should have knowledge supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) modeling and simulation products including frameworks, representations and truth services. Candidate should have knowledge supporting current HWIL and Digital frameworks that support Ground Tests, Flight Tests and Training. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Must be able to simultaneously work multiple complex tasks. Must be able to communicate well with senior leadership. Must have highly developed written and oral skills. Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a security clearance in order to access classified information. Systems Engineer – System Analysis (NL-11-026): The IBCS SE&I IPT is responsible for providing engineering and analytical support in developing and maintaining the IBCS System Architecture, IBCS System Specification (SS) and Prime Item (PIDS) requirements, and IBCS interface requirements. The Systems Analysis and Modeling Team is responsible for system analysis, which includes models and simulation development and support. SE&I will develop and maintain several models in support of system level requirements analysis, development support, and test. These models and simulations support engineering and analytical effort to update the IBCS performance analysis and will be utilized in analysis of IBCS functions and performance along with trade studies, cost, and risk. SE&I will develop and maintain a variety of engineering tools to assist in the analysis of the IBCS system. These tools will be utilized to perform and analyze Technical Performance Measurements (TPM) to determine system responsiveness to the establish requirements. Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, science or related discipline. Four years of experience in an engineering classification. Knowledge of SE processes for the development of integration, evaluation and assessment documentation, data collection, evaluation and analysis requirements, interface design and implementation specifications is required. Emphasis required on system behavior development for specified capabilities supporting battle management, command and control, weapon systems and sensor functionality and associated information exchange requirements tied to specified performance metrics that are traditionally demonstrated in system level systems engineering. Candidates should have strong social and presentation skills. Demonstrated strong System Engineering principles. Familiarity with Patriot, JLENS, THAAD, and/or MEADS, Army air and missile defense systems and operational concepts. Experience with interfaces including Link-16, CEC, etc. Experience with simulations, model development, MATLAB. Position requires that candidate to have an active Secret security clearance to access classified information.
